Experience silence. I allow the body to relax, listening to the music and allow the music. To soothe the nervous system breathing, inhale and exhale, and inhale and exhale. Preparing to experience the silence. Within myself, bringing my attention gently to the center of my forehead. I visualize a sparkling star, a tiny point of light a. This will be my visual reference as I gently explore the rest of my awareness. First I notice my thoughts. The rising and falling of words, perceptions and subtle feelings, thoughts that stimulate memories. Images in my mind. Thoughts are natural and present. I acknowledge my thoughts and keep the sparkling star as a reference. Watching the thoughts as they come in and out of my awareness. Now I bring my attention to my emotions. The energy moving throughout my body. The tension and tightness of some energies may be moving or staying in different areas of my body. Notice where the energies are moving or staying. What areas of my body? Notice the intensity of the energy in different areas. Allow the moving of emotion to remain in my awareness along with my thoughts, and I continue to use the point of light as a reference. So there are thoughts, there are images, memories, emotions. The body is still present, and now I gently notice the silent stillness that is filling the rest of my awareness. Like space. The vastness of silence and peace within. If thoughts or emotions begin to draw your attention, gently notice them as thoughts and emotions. Note that to yourself. That is a thought. That is an emotion in my body. That is an image in my mind. That is a memory. And now allow your attention to rest in the stillness, rest in the silence, and look at the star. The tiny point of sparkling light. The star is me. The living consciousness, the awareness. I understand that within my conscious awareness, there are thoughts, emotions, along with this physical body. And now I realize that I can also connect with the essence of myself, the sparkling star. The point of living light and also the gentle stillness and silence of my inner world. Take a moment, noting all these components and resting my deep feelings. In the stillness and silence of my inner world. I don't need to go anywhere to experience silence or peace. Part of my inner world is always silent. Always peaceful and always still. Gently preparing to return now to waking awareness. As I return to my day, I remember. All the components within my own consciousness, and that at any moment I can connect with the still silent environment within me. And understand that I am the star, the spiritual being, the living consciousness. So now gently bring your awareness back into your body, into the awareness of the room. Bring your energy up into your face, more active energy. Move your fingers and toes, and gently return to your waking awareness. Om Shanti.
